The real cost of a mobile product

The late Steve Jobs knew mobile was the future, and we can now say it’s very much the present. Just ten years after the release of the 1st-gen Apple iPhone, the first modern mass-marketed smartphone, mobile internet usage already exceeded desktop surfing.

Fast-forward through 3 years of relative equilibrium and the pandemic has given mobile another boost – it’s already consolidated its dominance and the gap is now starting to widen.

As our lives get more and more intertwined with technology, mobile apps are moving up the priority lists of businesses, as well as users. What used to be a nice-to-have not too long ago, now is a must-have as the market moves more and more into this direction, and businesses worldwide have been quick to adopt a mobile-first strategy.
